Default Anyone with their noisy clutch replaced under warranty, I need your HELP!!!!!

As most of you are aware for a while now there has been TSB54 to correct noisy clutches on deaccleration.

I and several other Australian S2000 owners have been battling Honda Australia to have the TSB recognised locally and our clutches fixed under warranty.

I am trying to collect data on the effectivenessof various revised clutch plates.

I have heard that the latest clutch disc, the one with the part number ending in 055 is supposedly effective in correcting the problem once and for all.

i would appreciate it if anyone can share their experience with various clutch fixes and their effectiveness over prolonged use.

I have had mine replaced with about 9k miles on it and it is fine. The noise has not returned at all. It was such a relief to get rid of that annoying buzzing sound. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Just had mine replaced last week. Amazing difference! Wish I had had it done sooner. Obviously can't testify as to how long lasting the fix is.

Had the 1st TSB54 done at around 25,000 miles. Second one at 35,000 (the newest "fix"). Now at 40,000 miles and everything is sounding fine.

Had the "buzz" fixed at about 17K miles. Now have about 22K. The difference was and still is dramatic.

I just dropped off my car at the dealership this morning to get the TSB54 "buzzing sound" checked/fixed. I don't know if it's just me or being paranoid but I think the service rep/tech didn't feel like checking it or wanted to do it.

Dear US S2K owners

IS IT SAFE TO SAFE THAT THE LATEST REVISION CLUTCH PLATE (THE 055, in the MY02) HAS PUT AN END TO THIS BUZZING NOISE ?

Thanks for your help

How many times can we get tsb54 done? I had it completed in 2000 w/ 20,000 miles and it never solved the problem. I've constantly complained about it. Should I look for a different dealer, or just live with the noise.
