As you may know, the only year you can get all red on GPW and BB was in MY02. All GPWs came w/all red while some of the BBs came with it. These are rare, I looked hard for over a year, nationwide, only found a few but all were in less than desirable condition. In the end, I settled for well-kept NFR and switched out the interior to tan. But I still keep a look out for a MY02 GPW. IMHO, this is the best color combo.

wow...didn't expect so many replies. thanks guys for all your input! as someone stated, the all red interiors came only on grand prix white and berlina black in 2002? the s2k i am looking at happens to be a GPW with an all-red interior in decent condition...the whole reason i was kind of thrown back was because i was afraid there would be too much red and my eyes would start to get sore just sitting in my car. also...b/c of it's niche, it might be harder to sell later on (in case the buyer has the same train of thought as me). but it's good to hear that they are indeed rare and could fetch a higher price? anyways, i'm going to take a closer look at this s2k in question this week and I will most certainly keep what you guys said in mind when I sit in it.
On a side note, the other car I'm considering is the 350z. The only forum i've been looking at is my350z.com, which totally sucks in comparison to s2ki.com...lots of flaming and arguing (espcially people with 07's ragging on people with the non-rev-up engine). For a car as specialized as the S2000 is, I'm very surprised at how huge this forum is. The 350z forum is a fraction of the size of this one...yet you see so many more of those cars on the road. Not knocking the car though, it's nice and I'm going to take a look at it as well. Thanks again guys.

There is something that bugs me about the all red interior - and it slipped my mind. It doesn't have any thing to do with the amount of red.
The color match between the leather and vinyl is okay (not perfect), but the red carpet has a magenta hue (so I'll be changing to an OEM black carpet).
I sent back a Rick's red leather shift boot because the match was off.
I also can't find an aftermarket seat that matches the red color and fits right. So, before selecting all red, keep in mind - it's very hard to match.

Gotta be a little dissention. I coild have lived wih and loved most any exterior but for me the interior had to be all black.
My only local choice at buying time was blue/blue so I decided to drive a 100 miles to get a black/black. Once there, I saw the Sebring/black and changed my mind on the Berlina.
Black seems such a natural to me.
