to anyone with a red interior
#11
When I purchased my 02', I could have chosen the all-red interior variant, but thought it was a little much at the time. Since then, the all-red has grown on me, and I feel that if you found a nice example, you could dress it up a little with an AP2 console, metal look interior door, black mats etc.
I feel that if you're questioning what you'll think of the all red though, the red/black combo might bet the one for you. With that interior, you either love it or hate it - there's no inbetween!
The interior of my 07 is red/black, and I couldn't be happier. For me, it's a wonderful combo of the two colors which I too get many compliments on. I've recently added a JDM red-stitched wheel/shift knob, and black mats to differentiate my interior from those of other models.
My advide to you is go sit in one with the all red top up, top down, in the shade, in the sun etc. because the color will change depending on the time of day.
If you're interested in the red/black, here's pictures on mine. Good luck!

BB with All red is just about the hottest thing. This is probably the only reason I got this car. I've wanted ever since it came out.
Very rare, and yeh, I think it's a hit or miss as well, but I don't think I could go back to the dreadful black interiors again.
The thing about all red is that when you're driving, it's not as bad. At night, the dash looks like it's black.
Also, I think it brings a lot of uniqueness to the car. I mean, how many cars do you know that has all red interior that doesn't look like a throw back from the 70's?

I've got the Grand Prix White w/ full red interior. I absolutely love it. I happen to think the different colored inserts look tacky. Black door panels with red inserts, black seats with red centers, black center console with red carpet etc. Cheapens the smooth lines of the car. In my opinion, the all red interior makes the car look tens of thousands of dollars more expensive and really pops in a GPW, BB or SS car. Park one next to any other stock S2000 and see which one your eye is drawn to.

I think the dual tone with black and red is sort of tacky as well. it's a hard combo to make it good as far as the seats go.
I think they should of made the outside of the seat red leather and inside a black suede.
