Default anyone with o.z. superlegerra rims??

i am very interested in these rims. they are shown on the tirerack.com site and need to know:

1. what size; 17's? or 18's?
2. what is the offset?
3. what size/speed rating/manufacturer, etc. tires did you choose?
4. any clearance problems?
5. is your car lowered?
6. would you recommend these rims?
7. would love PICS!!!!
8. if not this rim, what rim would you recommend in this price range? ($300-$400 ea.)?

so many questions , but anyone out there with these rims would be of benefit to others as our site is sponsored by tire rack and i am certainly interested. i will be placing my 02 order early next year.

best regards

Hello:

Check this thread out: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=36436

The first black one with 18" OZ rims is mine. It's lowered with KG/mm DR21 Race Springs and I have no rubbing/scratching etc!

I'm running on Kumho Ectsa 712's (225/40/18 F, 255/35/18 R). The offsets on the rims are +45 front, and +55 rears. I'm not sure of the offset numbers, but they are very close to these. The rims themselves are 18x8 F, and 18x9 R.

I'd definitely recommend these rims as they are light (for 18's), durable, and IMO, look pretty nice!

Anyways, hope this helps! Send me a PM if you want to talk more!

thanks man!

honestly, i wouldn't suggest the kumho's....i'm pretty disappointed in them, but they are very damn cheap for 'ultra high performance' grade tires....

What ones would you suggest?, Jim from tirerack was saying sp3's, any experience with those.
i have put a deposit down on a black with red leather interior, and am thinking about putting those wheels on!

thanks for the input

I think the S03's are pretty good -- good reviews although I've never driven on a set before...they're a bit pricey too cuz you're going to 255/35/18 rubber for the rears!

I'd also look at the Dunlops (SP 8000s?), and if money is not an issue, there's always the P-Zero's!!

Hi

Yeah I bought the OZ superleggera wheels in september, so I have not driven with them that much though. But I simply loves the look of them, and also got a lot of comments saying that they think the look great on the car.

I've got 18", no idea about the offset, I've mounted the Yokohama AVS Sport tires 255/35 on the rear and as far as I remember 235/40 on the front. I think the speed rating on these tires are Y. I have had no clearance problems at all, and my car is not lowered.

Best regards
SUN

this is kind of an incomplete reply, but the info i have for you:

we have 18'' oz superleggera's, bought from tirerack.com. i suggest you go to the site and get the offsets they reccomend. they're 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. they're great so far, look awesome on our silver s2k, and were relatively inexpensive.

we currently have s03's on there, but they're not anything great, so we're upgrading to 265's in the back & getting s02's all around.

update to follow.
