Careful with using carfax. I was helping out the forum friends too and after 40 carfax inquiries I got a warning. They wanted me to formally state that the inquiries I was making were for personal reasons. I know you're not making money on this, but I thought I'd warn you before you get a letter.
I'd hate to see them crack down on you and charge you $20 for each inquiry. That was the warning that came with the letter.
