anyone know if you need higher than 91 octane with the toda 2.2 stroker kit?

It's not common, but in most large metropolitan areas you can find a few gas stations with 100 at the pump. This is a big deal in the Audi/VW scene because some tuners make software specifically to take advanage of high octane race gas. I believe www.sunoco.com has a 'race gas finder' utility. There are other brands as well, but Sunoco seems to be the most popular. Just look around, it's out there. As far as 88-89 being the best available in some areas, to the best of my knowledge at least 91 Octane is available anywhere in the states. I work for a Tuner and 91 octane is the lowest gas that we tune for. Right now 93 is available everywhere other than the west coast and some high elevation regions, although I think new england will be going to 91 rather than 93/94 in the near future.
