Someone had a link awhile back to an Adobe file with Honda's instructions for correct placement of the s2000 side emblems...

I just put on some black chrome side emblems last night. Since I didn't have the instructions I just put one piece of tape along the top edge of the old emblem and marked it with a pen where the point of the "S" was. Instead of putting the two pieces on separately, I left the outside plastic tape on and trimmed it down so I could see the top edge in order to line it up correctly. By leaving the tape on the S and 2000 remained lined up just right. The black chrome looks much better than the regular pieces. Cleaning all the adhesive off was a major PITA. Maybe the alcohol works better but I used both Goof Off and Goo Gone...
