Anyone have a shift light?
#11
Maybe I will be the first to try this, when I round up some extra cash. Does anyone have a shift light to recommend? I would prefer LED and possibly blue, but size would be more important as it needs to probably be small enough to fit in the vents.
I am also open to other ideas involving SHIFT LIGHTS. I know many of you use the beeper but it doesn't interest me

I had one in my old car that I loved! It is the size of a dime but very bright. It's like a super sized LED surrounded by a small stainless steel bowl. It's made by PIVOT. I drilled a very small circle with my dremmel tool and dropped it in flush. You really couldn't see it too well in the day due to the small size. At night you couldn't miss it. They make it in a variety of colors. The only problem I see is that even though it worked really well in my Toyota celica (6500 Redline) I hear it may not work too well in a 9k redline due to the way it works. This is the only reason I have not bought a new one yet. See if the local speed shop that sells these will let you test it out. You'll understand once you see it how this is possible. I sold my old car to a neighbor when I bought my S. I'll take a picture tomorrow, but can't upload since I'm not a member. E-mail me and I'll E-mail you pictures.
