Anyone have experience with this clear bra seller?
Ebay link
With all the recent clear bra talk it has got me thinking, maybe i should protect my front end. I know 3M and a local authorized dealer is the proffered method, but i know some of you have bought off ebay and i was curious everyones oppinion.
I figure its a small investment and worst case scenario it does not fit well. Can anyone add any additional insight to this particular seller? I emailed him and he guaranteed it would fit my 02' perfectly.

I figure the worst thing that could happen is that it looks ugly and doesn't fit as well as the 3M. This thing is still gonna protect the front end. I was hoping not to be the guinea pig to test this, but for the low price I just might give it a try.

It is not as easy as you think to put it on it will look like crap if you don't know what you are doing. Better to go to a prfessional installer and get it done right and have a warranty if any issues arise. Buyer beware.

If I remember, to make the installation easier, they would put down some kind of solvent(could've been water, can't remember) on where your putting the bra on. If it needs readjustment, it'll be easier to move around since it is wet, and once you have it aligned, you just squeegy the solvent out to smoothen it out. I am not sure about the places where you might not be able to get a squeegy in there though. But I think they make different sizes so it might be possible. I don't know where I read this from exactly, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I actually assume it is similar and it makes sense in a way, but I am not 100% sure really. Hopefully, we get a pro to chime in and see what they say.

I have been an installer for 3+ years so I have a little knowledge. There is no solvent used in the installation process. Soap and water and alcohal and water depending on what film it is Xpel's new film uses there own solution which is a gel.
Not even close to window tint. Tint shrinks PPF stretches many tint guys think it's similar until they try to install it.
Solvent is used to prep the paint to remove any wax basically 3m adhesive remover.
