Default Anyone had your S2000 egged?

OK, so I need another outlet to vent.

I went to visit some friends on Friday night. I parallel park, like many other cars in the neighborhood, right next to the house. It was a clear night in a nice area of Jacksonville, FL, so I decide to leave the top down. Two hours later when I walk out, I see egg all over the interior of my car... the steering wheel, radio, passenger seat, floor mats and under the driver's seat. I was violentally angry ! There was also a little bit on the hood, the only part of the exterior.

I ended up working three hours with paper towels, windex, Meguiar's leather cleaner and upholstery cleaner to clean it up. Luckily, I have so much wax, armor all and leather conditioner on my car, most of the egg was sort of laying on top, not saturating anywhere. I even have Scotchgard on my MUZ floormats, which helped significantly. My car is back to immaculate like it was before... thank God .

I drove around the neighborhood for 30 minutes looking for the culprits. It's probably good I didn't find them... I'm not sure what I would have done. I decided not to call the cops, since they would take too long to get there and have more important things to worry about.

Anyway, it sucked, but I'm relieved it's fine now. I REALLY regret throwing things at cars now when I was an irrational teenager. Anyone else have this happen recently? I'm sure it's been discussed on the boards in the past.

That sucks man, just have to put the roof up from now on...

I feel the same, made had sticky tape put over his car, and some t**t had picked up a hand full of small stones and just rubbed them up his bonnet like a scouring pad... he now has to front the costs for bonnet repair...

What's the world coming too... ?!

U took it much easier than I would've...

I do wish the worst for those kids that did that to your car!!! If I ever caught someone defacing someone's property like that I would've made sure and kept them there until I was able to contact the owner to come out and handle it.
