Default Anyone ever have problems with their fuel cap?

I'm on my 3rd one from Honda, and it is very difficult to tighten the cap, and loosen the cap.

On top of that, every now and then I'll get a Check Engine Light, and its usually always the fuel cap completely off!

I believe there was a problem with the filler necks being out of round. I remember reading on the site of people bringing in their cars to have them replaced. I just apply pressure while screwing it on, it seems to work. Before that I'd hear three clicks and think it was on only to find that it had backed off ( smelling gas fumes while driving).

There is a Service Bulletin for deformed fuel filler pipe, I've seen it on 2 other cars, as well as mine.

I had to get a new aftermarket gas cap about 2 years ago when the car was just over a year old. I elected to get a locking gas cap (double protection) and have not had a problem since.
