Has passed numerous times here in Nashville. Also it's marked right on the cap that it's CARB approved and who's tougher than CA?

Pull out the fuse...it is the third one from the top on the right bank of fuses by your left knee.

If you don't want to pull the fuses.... refueling will turn the light off too. The tank will repressurize.

I had to climb under the dash a few times resetting that light when I was having problems with my cap.First I suggest finding a short kid and talk him through it because a 5'9" grown man should never have to get into that position....it's not pretty I assure you.
