Anyone from Denver?
Im from San Antonio.. never seen snow in my life but theres a chance I might move to Denver after college, just curious of the snow situation up there... can you get by without a winter beater?
On the forecast it's always snowing but people tell me that most of that lands on the mountains, what hits the city usually melts really fast and the main roads are normally clear.
I know a few guys with RWD muscle cars that drive them year round up there on regular tires, but who knows.
Is a winter car needed there?

Hey, I'm from Denver. The last few years there really hasn't been any snow here. You could probably get by with snow tires, the streets get covered but melt fairly quickly. I would recommend a beater though, you won't have any problems with your car its the other drivers that you would have to watch out for. Not to mention the road salt and the gravel on the roads.
