Not bad:

But, I still would like to have custom temp display in the coinholder area. Much easier to hook up too... Anyone else interested in this?

Thanks for the info, Andrewewing. I've really wanted to install this (My wife has something similar on her car), but didn't know what was out there. I checked the product and found a lower price at another website: http://www.brandsmall.com/0011-50-genk20.html

Even with this product, you apparently still have to remove the mounting bracket on the windshield and replace it with another one. I'm nervous about doing this and would gladly pay more if they made one that fit our car's windshield bracket. But knowing that you did it successfully makes me feel better about doing it.

When I went to the manufacturer's website, they specifically state that the bracket does not fit the 2002 S2000. It's the only exception they indicated at that site.

Our car has an oddball bracket. Some have removed the existing bracket themselves by heating it and I tried that but I guess I was afraid to apply enough heat. That's why I went to an automotive w/s shop. Of course they absolved themselves of all responsibility if it broke but all came out well.

I still want an outside temp display. The only other option I thought of is getting a single gauge pillar pod and mounting a digital temp gauge to fit it.

Auto-dimming, homelink, map lights, compass, thermometer

It constantly reads the heading and outside temperature in that little square...

Yes a wiring harness is supplied just perfect to reach the bumper. The temperature probe is very high quality and clips to the back of a intake vent slat without any modification. I have a coastal metals grill in front of the probe with no interference. I will try to get some pictures later.
