I took a look at the magazine and the owner claims to have run a 12.5 @ 105, with a Vortech SC, 5Zigen header, downpipe, and exhaust (also has a centerforce clutch). He claims 375 hp, and 200 lb. ft. torque. Also has a butt load of audio equipment in it. Is the claim a little too optimistic ? I usually see very high 12's for the Vortech S2K's, and the trap speed seems a little low for mid 12's.

Definitely. Running a 12.5 at 105 would mean that he probably had a 2.5-2.7 60'. Even a 16 year old could pull a better 60' than that. It does seem fishy.
