It's my only car...and is much better in the snow than my bikes. You definitely need snow tires. After one harrowing trip home in some VERY shallow (but very cold) snow I ditched the S0-2's for some good winter tires and have enjoyed the car very much since. It's fun in the snow as long as you have some traction. Usually I put the top up when it's snowing though.

I find that if you're OK with rear wheel drive on snow, the S2000 is a very a good winter car, unless you drive on the limit. It can drift out quite suddenly, but only if you provoke it. Like Barry said, get proper snow tires, the SOs are useless to the point of really dangerous in cold weather. I don't drive it in the winter anymore, but while I did it was fun. Biggest issues were visibility through the rear plastic window, and the cringing I did every time sand and salt was thrown up from cars in front of me.
