The picture of the radio from the 00-01's alerted me to the fact that my Si had the same radio. Why sould a $17,500 car and a $33,000 car be equipped with the same radio... Well, I am glad they upgraded it.

Hahaha, sorry I didn't clarify Dan. I was being sarcastic about the exterior being different with the addition of the " Bling, bling, chrome rings" . Yeah exterior is the same, but just little addittions to the interior and that rumor I read about the 02-03 ecu's being possibly 5hp stronger.

If the S2200 reveals itself to be a hardtop then I will not regret getting an 03. That engine sounds tempting though. I wanted to wait for the 04's, but the car will be about 5 to 6 months away and I can't wait to get one. I wonder if the 04 will remain the same with just extra foo-foo stuff added?

The chief honda motor man was hinting that the s2k would either get the 2.4l ivetc (which he now considers to be his favorite engine over the f20) that is in the tsx or there might be no more s2k in a recent article in lets see either sport compact mag or honda tuning. He said (whats his friggin name?) that the 2.4 can spin to 18k!!

My Honda service guy says '04 will come standard with hardtop that is now optional. The UK lists two S2k models, one with hardtop and one not, the price difference is 1000 pounds which I think is about $1,500.
I think maybe they'll make the hardtop standard, bump up the MSRP a little, and then release the new model with i-VTEC and more torque in late '05 after the excitement over the 350Z convertible dies down a little.

Yeah I believe it would be a tuning on the TSX engine to get it to work on the S2K. Who knows though, Honda could pull a Nissan thing and use the TSX in every car. j/p Well I am expecting it to change, but i want the S to remain the same next year until the new one comes out.
