Hopefully in two months I will have mustered the necessar finances to obtain the S2k. In addition, hopefully within that time, cars will be available below MSRP for my perusal.

Your location shows as being Boston, so you may not be too bad off for price. I've seen a couple of web sites for dealers in your area that are asking at or under MSRP with a reasonable selection too. Honda Cars of Boston's web site shows seven in stock and six with prices of $32,300.

The S2000 god said to me in a dream. "If you truly believe in my wake up, gather all you belongings and sell them. When you have the money you shall find me. Blessed are you who believe in me, you shall drive forever. Those who are not for you are non-believers and against you." I thought to myself, what about my wife? The voice said to me, "She too will follow me, if your faith is strong."
Everything came true.

I'm a dreamer, wisher, beggar s2000 guy. You know the hardest part... the more I come to this webiste and read about everything about the car - how great it really is and that it's all worth it, the more you want it. You practically know the everything about the car by reading all these posts. The only thing is that it's not sitting on your driveway.

This is my first post, I have lurked here for sometime now and must say I enjoy hanging here! This car is awesome. I have owned mine since December and look forward to nothing more than just taking it out for a ride. Find someone to give you a ride in one of these cars and your a hooked for sure.

OK. You've outed me. I've been lurking for a few weeks now and I must say I'm very impressed with the high activity level of this board, low level of flaming and high quality of the discussions. This has greatly enhanced my already favorable impression of the car. Although it's actually my wife who's pining for the S2K. She sat in one (yellow) at the car show back at Christmastime and I almost had to drag her away.
I drive a lightly modded Mustang Cobra ragtop which she loves to drive as well. She's kinda short, so she can't toss the car around the way I do (drop the top and rev it till it's red applies to other cars, too). Therefore she thinks she should have her own toy which fits her better. Sounds good to me, but it may be a couple of years...
