Any other dreamers?

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, and am having a blast reading the discussions. I feel that I, unfortunately, am in the minority of this forum of those who do not own an S2000. I have had my eye on the little beast for a long time now, before it was produced, back when it was a concept vehicle.
I still absolutely adore the car, and daydream about it every day. I literally yelp every time I see one drive passed me.
I'm wondering if there are more of you out there? S2000 wishfulls?
I drive a silver '95 Integra now, but in the future, I WILL have my S2000, you can count on that!
Reading stories of all of you driving your S2000 rev me up every day, so keep them coming!

I am also an S2000'less memeber of this board, but I'm already on my way to owning one by the end of the year, thanks to scrupulus management of my income. Christmas is looking real nice right about now

Me three!!!
Hopefully during the summer, I will be driving one. The question is whether I will have it by the summer so that I can enjoy it or get it around fall and still enjoy it (so so). Reading the forum also makes me impatient.

Yes, I am definately squarely in the dreamer category, and will be for a while. Being a college freshman with an almost new Honda Civic, I won't get my S2K for another three years...but the day after graduation I am making a beeline for the dealer and getting a red/black

I'm in the minority with you liebernoodle. I've been scanning for S2000's for weeks, but as of now, the finances don't yet add up. That combined with the fact that my 97 Jetta is not worth much on trade in for the S2k.
For those in MA, I also currently have about 26 points on my license (soon to be 22), out of a max of 30 which puts me in a high liability insurance bracket. Luckily that is offset somewhat because I am under my parents car insurance.
I'm looking at both the Miata and the S2k. The Miata costs around 22k while the S2k 32k. Yes the S2k costs 1.5x the Miata, however the S2k is at least twice the car.
Hopefully in two months I will have mustered the necessar finances to obtain the S2k. In addition, hopefully within that time, cars will be available below MSRP for my perusal.
