Speaking from a North American point of view.. Laguna Blue was not offered in Canada, so it will be especially rare in Canada and it will have been imported from the US. As it is, its pretty rare in the US too. Imola Orange was not offered in the US, and I've seen two of them on Vancouver Island. Both colours are truly stunning and rare, meaning that you will likely sell it should you decide to do that. BUT, I'm willing to bet that once you own an S you will be very reluctant to sell it.
Buy whichever one you like better - like everyone else says here, there ain't a bad S2000 colour!!

GPW has always been a favorite of mine and unlike most other manufacturers out there it has a higher resale value on the S2k.

You should definitely avoid buying any S2000 that is pink, green, beige or brown.

I'm on my second SPA and all I can tell you is the yellow attracts bugs. Any time I go out in our carport there are 4 or 5 times as many bugs sitting on my car there are on my wifely unit's brown Grand Marquis.

I thought yellow was the most visible color on the road, but my first one got run over by a burglar that was fleeing from the police.

Even though there are 5 or 6 other S2000s around town, quite a few people have commented that they had never seen one before. That might be because mine is the only one that is not a Miata color.

All depends on your preference.

I have my eyes on a Laguna Blue and an Imola orange of similar conditions and mileage. Are there any colors that I should avoid at all cost? Would my choice or Laguna blue or Imola Orange make a difference in future re-sale value should I ever sell it!? Thank you.

Dan
I finally made my choice on a clean LAGUNA BLUE 2006, 46 600 miles. Pretty much original except black mags and a carbon hood. Pretty much my favorite color from the start.

Thank you all for your messages.
