You Can mod the Airbox as suggested and mod / remove the rad shield this is a major restriction on the car. Honda included a purpose made scoop in the hood to feed the Airbox but the slots in the rad shield don

learn your car in and out...................learn to manage it properly.......drive it properly..........i personally believe driving on point...........will beat any mod......i havent had the chance to track mine yet as i dont have another set of wheels, but i manage mine pretty well.....

Before gutting anything do a search on "gutting airbox" (or simular) to find out if you really want to do this.
IMO the throttle cable tightning to the correct slack is the cheapest "mod" around
