Default Another S2K seat question

Does anyone know if a bracket used for power seats could be exchanged for the brackets of the stock seats? Would the power features work with this set-up? Need more height dammit!!!

Thanks in advance

You have power seats in your S2k?

No. I would like power seats, however they are very costly. I've checked out some of the Recaro and was wondering since you have to buy the brackets separate anyway, would it be possible to just buy the brackets and attach them to our stock seats (which are supposedly recaro) and get the benefit of power seating? Or does the electrical mechanisms run through the seat as well making this idea totally void? The brackets are about $200 whereas the seats run anywhere from $12-1700 (plus another 200 for brackets).
