Post Another Question on clearing headlights...

Is there a way to test the headlights for leaks prior to reinstallation?

I was thinking I could place them in a sink full of water, but then remembered that if I was to remove the HID bulbs and whatnot, there would be gaping holes. I just want to make SURE I am not going to have to redo this. Any help would be appreciated.

Spray Soapy water around the outer seals, and blow air into the Headlamp unit. Hopefully you have access to a compressor. You'll have to plug the the bulb openings somehow of course.

i just covered up the openings and took a hot steamy shower while the headlights were sitting in the bathroom.
