On a side note, I'm surprised by the influx of the new owners of late. One would think this far into winter that sales would sputter a bit. Care to enlighten us why the best decision of your life took place during this season?

I know I'm not the person you are asking, but I am a new owner (got it Dec 29th).
I wanted one since Oct, but I was waiting for my X-mas bonus.
I'm in San Diego, so the weather is not an issue. However, I also do not benefit from the winter discounts many dealers offer on convertibles.
Also, the changes made to the '04 seemed to create a lot of buzz in the car magazines recently. It just recieved Car & Driver's 10 best, and Edmunds.com "Editor's Most Wanted".
Plus, Honda is actually advertising it (Jan Road & Track, 2 page spread).
Thats all I can think of.

Riz2k,
This is actually the best time of year to buy a convertible sports car in my opinion. Yes it's cold and you may not be able to put the top down much (I had it down today actually with a jacket on), but it is the best time of year to get a good deal on one because demand is low and they want to move them. I bought my Miata in New Jersey the day after Thanksgiving in 1999. I got $4000+ off sticker price ($1250 was rebate). In the summer time, inventories are limited and you'll pay a premium. At least that's how I see it. Winter in the Southeast is a bit of a joke anyway. I'm originally from NJ and lived there for 20+ years. I laugh when people down here are shivering at 60 degrees. It has been quite cold here though the past few days. It's about 0 degrees up there!
S2kdude,
I'll try to get up there, although I am moving out of GA at the end of February (Moving to Columbus, MS).
