I hate when I don't drive my car somewhere. Say I go off for the weekend.. hell I ride to a store with a friend. As I leave I am watching my car in sadness because I am not driving it and I look as far as I can down the road on the way back just to see it again asap.

Yeah, I know.. I have an S2000 addiction problem
I have to agree about driving another car for a little bit. Even 15 min behind another car is enough for you notice the differences and appreciate the S. I remember when I drove other cars with their sloppy gearboxes, I felt that I was in a racecar when I got back into my car.

its normal when u feel bored with something after owning it for sometimes, but as the guys here tell you that...ONCE you solld the car you will feel the urge of wanting it back...
as the S is a great car to ride...it looks good (with the top down especially) , it runs well..and its a great car to be modified....
well i love mine till death...

drive something else for 20 min, or dont drive your car for a weekend.. the second u get back into your car it just feels amazing....

That dosage always works for me. Good one.

Getting back into the car I touch the dash, swing my hands around the wheel, lean back on my seat, assume the racing position with hand on shifter and play with everything on the car again...like it was brand new before I push the start button.

Pushing the start button and seeing the digital swoop of the rpms come across you does it for me. Its a good feeling to get back into the S2000 after driving something else.

Finally getting it on some open roads to let her loose relieves all bordem.

Take it to a road course. There are many many track events around the SoCal area. Look up speedventures.net, and come on out.

It'll spark that loving feeling again...
