I totally agree with Krazik, Menlo is by far the best place to take your car for service. Many of us use them and have nothing but good things to say. I have known Chuck for 2 years now and he is a sincere and caring individual that strives to make each and every customer happy. That can be said of each person I have dealt with at Menlo. Attitude reflects leadership and their leader is one outstanding individual.

I hope you were kidding about the hater marks and the VAFC, that is just uncalled for. Like ZX says "RESPECT will take you far in life." So, please either walk away from a bad situation or bite your tongue because there are many of us that want to continue to receive the quality of service we have been accustomed to when we go to Menlo. I don't want to go there and feel like the plague. just my .02

all you people, chill out!!

His car died on the highway, had a bad experience with the tow truck and to top it all off it rolled into a dumpster. Who here would be happy with that, and who would not overreact to ANYTHING at that point?

As for menlo, I don't think one person's comments, whose avatar sports two middle fingers, could possbly tarnish the dealership's excellent reputation.

the thing about hater marks and VAFC was obviously a sarcastic comment, check out the tongue face afterward. Don't take it so seriously.

I think both yall need to shake hands and talk cars over a couple beers.

FOR THE RECORD (so none of you start calling me a dealer hater): I will not take my car to another dealership besdies menlo. You CANNOT beat their reputation.

Thank you, Josh. I really appreciate that someone can actually read between the lines of my post. Nevertheless, it's funny how when I speak greatly of Menlo Honda I get great replies. Yet, when I speak of one bad incident I had I really get some bad air. About my comment about whether my belongings would be taken or my car being "hated on," that was all a joke (hence, the smiley face). Why would that even happen since I left Menlo Honda with good intentions with everyone? That is why it was just a sarcastic joke.

To ZXMAN, to my knowledge the only people that have seen my differential are the people who work at Menlo Honda. Now since you claimed that you have seen my differential, I am really astonished that an employee of that establishment will openly express his/her harsh feelings towards myself on an open forum. You insulted my age, my financial status (I indeed purchased the vehicle by myself, so please feel envious knowing that I am more successful that yourself), and my intelligence. I do hope that you are traced, found, and terminated, so that you would not insult anymore of your customers. I don't think it is good for business.

In this post, I would like to express my apoligies for my immature comment toward Reed. I am truly sorry for what was said in this thread. You served me with utmost professionalism and care. When I wrote about my experience, I was still filled with anger and let my feelings get the better of me. For that, I am sorry.

This part of my post is directed to Menlo Honda, since I know you guys are reading this. I've been meaning to write you guys a letter for the great service that I have had with you guys and I think now would be a better time than any.I have nothing but total respect for your organization. Your staff has helped me with utmost professionalism, work, and care when it came to service for my car. I live in San Francisco and am willing to drive my car to Redwood City so that I will receive this professionalism. No other dealer is trusted and revered by me than your own. My words were never directed to the organization as a whole and if any of you were offended I apoligize. To Chuck, you are THE man. I have never met anyone who was soo willing to meet and EXCEED a customer's needs. You truly are the best manager there is. Period! Don't change your style, man.

Lastly, to everyone who plans to get there car serviced. Do it at Menlo Honda. Don't let a little incident like my own deter you from THE best service department in the Bay Area. They are truly the best at what they do.

Regards,
Clifford

Don't worry about it, SS . Everything worked out great. My car is back and all the weird sounds that came from my diff before it broke are now gone.

By the way, another good reason why you should bring your S there is because they have 2 experienced S2000 technicians. If a S goes there, these 2 are the only ones touching it (from what I know).

Man, it's obvious your daddy never put you over his knee and paddled your backside. You have no right to trash the guys at Menlo Honda. Reed has been taking care of my cars for 10 years and has never let me down. I don't now or have ever owned the same kind of car as the dealership he works at but I'll follow him where ever he goes. Your lucky those guys are taking car of it because I saw your diff. and that is not a manufacturers defect that caused that mess....... YOU DID! Zot was right on the money with his reply. Daddy buys you a nice car and then you beat the crap out of it until it breaks. Then you go screaming and whining until someone fixes it for free. It's guys like you that make the guys at Menlo Honda's job harder. And if you had any brains you would listen to krazik's response. Reed did try to stop your car from rolling into the dumpster when the tow truck driver was screwing up and YOUR CAR RAN OVER HIS FOOT! Your lucky he was laughing and not suing your lame punk ass. I'm with the Silver Surfer. Reed has been an exceptional service advisor to me over the years and if you treat those guys with respect and courtesy you'll get the same in return. If you act like a punk you'll get treated like the punk you are. Guys like you ruin things for the rest of your club. I wouldn't think the guys at Honda would put up with you. Learn this word ..............
R-E-S-P-E-C-T. It will take you far in life.
I think you should find out who this "ZXMAN" jerk is. Any 39 year old service guys there drive a 300zx, or something along those lines? Of course he could be falsifying his information...

Clifford,
I want to correct some of your ass-umptions. First the guys at Menlo did
not show me your diff, I saw it as I walked through the shop and nothing
about your situation was discussed exept for the car rolling over my friend Reed's foot. You need to look at how you come across. I should have thought a little more before my 1st response. The last thing on Earth is that I am envious of you, your financial status or anything else about you. It's funny how everyone starts to panic and reiterate how wonderful the Menlo service is because they don't want to loose the ability to go there because of you. I won't be wasting anymore of my time.
