Yup, I think I would have called first. However, ,it is your choice on how you conduct your business. I have their banner in my signature not because of any "extra" perks, but because I have spent over $10k with them and have always received exceptional service. I can tell you that I had the wrong year bumper delivered one time... mistakes do happen. After a phone call, we came to terms on what should be done. That's all it took.

1-800-342-8158. Ask for Jeff or Joe in Parts.

Added: And yes, sometimes I have to call back a couple of times. E-mail works, too. Glad you will be receiving your product soon.

How did you expect one if you didn't order it in person?

You apperantly don't read many threads on this subject as many people have had problems getting a hold of Jeff.

In my case I was fortunate, an email was all it took.

It seems you would do well not to read threads like this as it obviously aggrevates you. I on the other hand see the value in what other people have to say, both good and bad about board vendors and will continue to read and participate in them at an adult level.
It's not that I get aggravated when i read these type of threads but for the thousands of great transactions that take place maybe only two or three people post a positive note whereas if something goes wrong people are all too quick to point to the negative aspect

I don't' need to rush to the defense of Hardtopguy since their dedication to this particular community is obvious. I live down the street from them and even I have trouble occasionally contacting them via phone, they are more busy than one could imagine. I've witnessed with my own eyes both Jeff and Joe having a phone in each hand and trying to help someone at the counter at the same time. An email can always cure this as it did in this case. Everyone should also remember (not directed to you Steve) that the Holidays do slow things down a bit. Rest assure that Hardtopguy has always had top notch service and knowledge, and whenever a problem has occurred they are always quick to correct as soon as possible.

I've had nothing but top-notch service from Jeff and Joe. And on two occasions they've gone way past what I would've expected from a vendor.

Steve, I hope you'll give them another chance.

Ganley's got a nice 2002 S2K, and from what I've heard on this site, I'd buy from there in a minute, if my other car was sold. I think it's helpful to have a dealership so focused on the S2000.

I never understood people who pay for something, and wait a month to follow up on it. If I order something, Ill call within 2 days to make sure it was shipped. There is no reason something cannot be shipped within 2 days.
