Default Annoying Vibration...

I have been getting an annoying vibration from somewhere behind the drivers seat when driving with the top up... It seems to resonate with the already annoying third gear buzz. I have tried to pinpoint it, and i know that it is coming from the plastic area in the cabin somewhere (not the trunk). I also have a 10 inch sub in the trunk and that causes the same vibration at times...it is making me crazy...i am one of those people that cannot stand little things like rattles. Normally, I just have my G/F drive the car and i sit shotgun until i pinpoint the rattle, but i cannot find this one...Any suggestions?

Does this only happen when you sit in the driver's seat, and not when someone else, i.e. your g/f, sits there. The only thing that I have noticed with my car is that I get a rubbing, the back of the seat contacting the plastic behind the seat, when I sit in the driver's seat. My g/f and I are close to the same height. I weigh 165 and she's 115. Without adjusting the seat, the difference of 50lbs doesn't make the seat rub. I know that you mentioned a resonating vibration, but could your seat be rubbing against the plastic backing. There would be no real way of checking this yourself while driving, but your g/f probably could. Anyway, just thought I'd help. I hate annoying rattles as well. They drive me crazy.
