Photos here. No video yet.
Yes, it's the loudest exhaust from Amuse, and probably one of the 3 loudest S2000 exhausts from any popular manufacturer. Like RACER said, I actually wear earplugs when driving for more than a couple of minutes at a time. And due to emissions reasons (it replaces the stock catalytic converter) it is not street legal in the US.
In terms of power gains, I'd say they are significant on the top-end. In combination with my other mods (including Toda header & cams) the car is very strong from 4500RPM to redline. In fact, one thing that I noticed in the last autocross is that I don't feel like I have to downshift if I find myself at 4500RPM in 2nd gear. Now the car has enough torque there to quickly pull itself back up to 6K, whereas previously the car was more sluggish in that area. I haven't had the car on the dyno since I installed the header & exhaust, but I hope to soon. I would probably be smart to invest in a shift-indication beeper because I find myself shifting early for 2 reasons: 1) The car climbs to redline very quickly and I fear hitting the rev-limiter, 2) The car feels as strong at 7K RPM as it used to at 8500RPM, so when I "shift by feel", I end up shifting way too early.
I'm too lazy to convert to metric for you, but it weighs around 9lbs. It replaces your full exhaust system from the header back (including the catalytic converter). The stock exhaust and cat weigh approximately 65lbs, so you shed approximately 55lbs.
Now... my personal advice: If your car is a dedicated track car and you have the money to spare, I'd say get this exhaust... you'll love it. It's light and it makes good power. If you use your car for daily driver duties, or even like to take your girl out in it occasionally, or whatever... I'd recommend that you look for another exhaust. This one is too obnoxious. And I was just informed by Ben @ Bulletproof that Amuse doesn't even offer a silencer for this exhaust any more.
Good luck w/ your decision.
