It might be about time for a custom wideband fuel / VTEC controller.
I'm still waiting on someone to come out with a production version.

I figured someone like you would rather have a pre-production model.

i wonder how an ems would correspond to these mods w/ tuning?
i currently have mugen intake w/ the top secret ti and will be getting the amuse header and straight pipe. as soon as these come in i will definitely go to church automotive for my tuning to see what gains i can get from the ems and standard setup of bolt ons.

Since installing the Toda header & Amuse R1000 combo, the car has felt significantly stronger from 4500RPM all the way to redline. However, the dyno seems to disagree with my assesment.
remember our discussion a month or two ago in the "which exhaust rules all" thread?

mxt:
considering the exhaust weighs 55lbs less than the stock exhaust system and probably increases power by 10-15hp
sm00th976:
i'd like to know which exhaust you put on your car that gave you 10-15 hp.
mxt:
Check my sig. It's the Amuse R1000. Basically a straight pipe from the header back.
sm00th976:
once you get the dyno chart that shows me a 10-15 hp gain instead of relying on the ass-dyno, then i'll believe you. not trying to start any kind of beef here or anything, but i'm very skeptical of this. you show me an extra 10-15 hp over a baseline run and i'd buy one tomorrow. until then, it's all just speculation.
mxt:
Get your checkbook ready.
hate to say i told you soooooooo.

interesting how quickly 3grand is spent, but if it feels better and sounds better...just put away the dyno sheet. Congrats on a nice set up though.

The AEM EMS is a great tool and allowed me to regain the hp I lost changing from stock to Toda/straight pipe/Amuse dual. My experience.

Hmmm, I'm always thought, (according to Bulletproof) that the R1000 yielded the most gains for an Exhaust system. I believe someone out there got really good gains from the T1R exhaust. I'm sure JL9000 has more info on that. If you're set on finding the best (concerning power gains) exhaust for the S2000 you may want to check out the new? J's Racing 70mm (same as R1000 I think) exhaust. And if you truly serious about the power gains, I think the J's exhaust mated to the new J's Racing header will give you the power you seek. This is all speculation. Good Luck!!

Umm, you never specified where that power had to be made, looks to me that around the 6650 RPM mark, he gained close to 10whp. I didn't put the scale on the screen but my visual inspection says it's damn close. Remember its not the peak that matters, it's the area under the curve.
