I think the OP is a decent driver. But I don't see how he can be surprised that a video like that was misinterpreted. Especially without explanation.

I'm really suprised at how his post was taken out of context and posted as a derogatory article on the home page no less! This sort of thing just puts people off sharing cool stuff such as this, for fear of being flamed etc, at least there's an apology now though so that's nice.
ZONG9 I thank you, your vids are excellent, as are your driving skills

I appreciate your sharing of your on track experiences. And, I understand your posting of the individual clips in response to many stupid replies. There are several contributors in these forums who appear to have no experience, yet post strong opinions based on hearsay and posts from other misinformed individuals. HPDEs are excellent venues for learning and enjoying the capabilities of the S. Rock on!

However most drivers cant really afford to go that route of participating in a competitive series and therefore never really have a full measure of their skill. Therefore they resort to measuring themselves by the number and quality of cars passed in an untimed track session which is not quite an accurate measure IMHO.
Zong - good for you for getting out there and pushing the limits. Most of the people who criticized probably have never pushed their cars a quarter of the amount that you have. I didn't watch all your videos, but based on the quantity it sounds like you have plenty of experience. And with a lot of experience comes a lot of mistakes - unless you aren't willing to push yourself.

As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

Nice driving, I wish I had a arsenal like this when all these punks on s2ki flamed me for passing a Ferrari!
Very nice driving keep up the good work.
All these flamers are the equivalent of "armchair quarterbacks" watching football talking smack.

I have to assume that most of the people posting here talking about how great the driving is in these vids are not experienced track drivers. As best I can tell, Zong is an intermediate level HPDE driver. I'm a bit disappointed by the statement about how the people in the right-hand seat are never instructors, because everybody can use some instruction time.

Hey Zong, thanks for posting the vids! It's nice to see someone really enjoying he S2000 and using it for what it was designed for. Definitely inspirational. I can't believe how many people are quick to criticize your accomplishments. The unasked for commentary should be ignored. In my time associating with driving enthusiasts I've learned that there are so many wonderful, giving people involved. But mixed in are the ones who think they know it all and nobody else does.
Keep up the good driving!
