I went on a lunch date with a girl today (her 20th birthday!). I went out with her once a few months ago (blind-date/hookup type situation). No major sparks but we bump into each other every once in a while on the road (we live and work close to each other). She drives a Miata. Friendly relationship.

Cute; blonde hair, blue eyes, nice body.

After a nice lunch I was driving her back in my S2000 and she said, "I want to drive your car". I slammed on the brakes, yanked the e-brake and got out. She hopped out and said, "really, you'll let me drive it?". She drove it back to her office babying it all the way... I was actually encouraging her to jump on it which she never did (I don't think she got over 5,000 rpms).

Am I crazy? I let a girl that I barely know drive my pride and joy! It's not like she is my girlfriend or even that we know each other real well....

Is my love for my S2000 overshadowed by the power of blonde hair and blue eyes? =)

 

I don't see the problem. It is just a car and you have insurance...

if you like her and she's not taking advantage of you, what's wrong with letting her drive? lots of people have driven my car.

treating cars better than women is a big turn-off anyway. plus many people think of sleek sports cars as "penis mobiles". i'd prefer not to do anything to support that.

Well I am on the verge of an S2000, so maybe there will be tow of us who own the same cars

BTW, For the SE-R 132ft lbs of torque is a lot. I have only been in an S2000 once and the guy never really dicked it....

so can you really feel the difference in pull(acceleration) between the cars?

She is kind of a wild child. She is a lot of fun.

It is clear we are from two different worlds. I think we both think that each other is fascinating. I'm clean cut, responsible. She has a tattoo on her lower back, funky hair... We are opposites.

Physically, she is definitely cute and sexy. NICE smile! Intoxicating eyes! Amazing laugh...
