heyyyy they arent that bad..... under normal driving they seem to handle pretty well.... car is smooth and quite.....
The problem isn't so much driving moderately on sh1te tires, but pushing an unforgiving car on them. There are better tire options available that are cheaper than Bridgestone.

Chirping is not unusual - with the (im)proper technique, every car could probably chirp a 1-2 upshift.

Stop banging the gears, control the clutch, and control your RPM. Bye bye chirp.

Please get your S some nicer shoes. I can't imagine that rubber is helping any.

Those tires don't look good at all... not S worthy anyway. If you wanna stay cheap but effective stick to Sumitomo's

Chirping tires = bad traction. Bad traction = bad situation. You don't want to chirp your tires. Either get better tires or slow your shifts so you don't upset the car so much.

[QUOTE=MPosey,Aug 20 2010, 04:22 PM] I cannot chirp the CR, it just bites and goes.

I have a better problem. With traction control on, my car slides and moves crazy when I aggressively shift into 2nd. With it off, I will only chirp (if that) then just go forward quickly

I hate slamming gears. If I can feel the shift, I did it wrong.

I have even tried to make it slip as I am going to autox it, so I wanted to see if I could get an autocross start and chirp the tires (thus losing time and accelearation) but my CR on the stock tires and stock tire pressues just grabs and goes forward on dry surfaces, haven't tried it in the wet yet though.
you definitely doing something wrong. heres my CR 3 days after buying it, all stock. at 0:26 seconds i upshift to 2nd and you can clearly hear the chirp over the wind noise.
