Am I Doing Something Wrong?

well its funny that you asked.... they are called Accelera Alpha summer tires, speed rating up 168 mph.... was on a tight budget and couldnt get the OEM ones. But I do remember chirping the OEM ones too, I guess they were worn out.

Is that unusual? When I shift into second gear at WOT my tires break traction for about 10 feet and the rear end pulls to the right.
Yes I know it's hard on the drivetrain, I'm looking for an excuse to upgrade my diff.

I don't understand what kind of response you're wanting.... Why would you assume that you're doing something wrong? If you accelerate hard with an aggressive shift, you'll spin or chirp your tires momentarily when the clutch re-engages. That's just what happens, especially if you have a harder tire that it fully or overinflated.

Calm down dude. There's no reason for you to think that the thread would go in that direction since you are the first to reply. Although now I hope it does

Lol...
why would there be anything wrong with chirping tires on a 1-2 shift? if it can be done on a stock civic with 98ft/lb of torque, it can be done in an s2k.
