Alternative ways for installing the Side Strakes.
I have read in the instructions that in order to fit them you must drill holes (actually only one on the side) on the sides of the S2000 in order to fit the Side Strakes.
Here is the link for the instructions:

Is there another way to fit them without making any holes? Has anyone done that?

As far as I can see the hole underneath hold the strake anyway so if I put silicon like you said that might keep it in place. But will need loads of it. Besides in the instruction there is a support tape that sticks on the sides. Do you think the silicon will damage the colour once it gets removed in the future? Personally I dont think it will...
I dont want to make holes on the sides because if I fit them and I dont like them I will have to remove them.
I have found only one pic with the Monte Carlo Blue S with the stakes on but I wish I could find more...

If you plan on keeping them there long term, you should definitely drill the holes and mount them properly. If you decide later on that you want to remove them and repair the holes it shouldn't be THAT big a deal to fill them in and touch them up properly.
