Almost No S2K Sightings This Weekend
Hi all,
Wife and I went to Columbia South Carolina from the Cleveland Ohio area and we only saw 1 other S2K. We traveled I77 from Cleveland to South Carolina. None seen on the way down. On the way home today we saw a silver S2K just north of Charlotte heading south on I77. We waved quickly but don't know if we were seen. We were in our white S2K.
Trip in the S2K was great and very comfortable! Will do it again. I just have a very sun tanned face and you can see where my sunglasses are worn.....I look funny right now. Only a burnt nose as a problem.
Only one funny thing happened on the way home. My wife drove, and she said at one point in the drive to me that she had no power. I looked at the dash and sure enough, everything was dark. I told her to coast over to the shoulder of I77 and thats when I noticed the ignition key turned off!!! My wife hit the key and key chain with her knee and actually turned the car off while driving!!! Started the car again and home we came!!! Just great!!!
Nice to know, even with many S2K's in the U.S. you hardly see them!!!! Makes you feel kinda unique.
Sorry for the ramble......
