Mine also is a daily driver. If there's stuff to haul we use my wife's car or have it delivered. Once you drive the S you don't want to drive anything else.

it's a really nice daily driver, the only con about it is that you'll get 270 miles to a full tank max. i can fit like about 6 or 7 shopping bags in the trunk too.

Mine started out as my daily driver. Now I am back to driving my Insight... cannot beat 70 MPG for a daily commuter car. Plus the Insight is a HB and does have enough room for all of my shopping needs (even Lowes is not a problem... long stuff can run out the passenger window).

But that being said... I do feel that the S2000 can be a great daily driver (for the short time that daily drove mine it was all I needed)... it will put a smile on your face every time you push the red start button. The main reasons that I do not daily drive mine now are security at work (several cars have been stolen from the parking lot lately... concerns me to bring the S2k to work), and gas mileage.

The S has more than enough room....the trunk is like a bottomless pit...for a roadster you WILL surprise yourself with the amount that you can fit into it.

One word of warning tho...pile it too high and youll see the trunk lid warping!! be careful!!

as for interior space...no one has mentioned the space where the top stores when down....if you need the room put the hood up and theres plenty of room in there!!

as for gas mileage....you didnt buy this car for the mpg...the best thing about this car is coming out of work after a long day....its all forgotten the moment you press the start button!!
