i see no reason to tint. sunglasses do just fine at keeping the sun from my eyes, and they're easier to remove.

I had mine tined 35% all around for a few reasons, personally I think that tinted windows give a more finished effect (ever notice how many car commercials have tinted windows). I also dont like people looking in my car however I realize with the S its less of a problem then previous cars where you can see the HU.

You guys that never drive with the top down and windows up whats your bottom line temp for dropping the top? I bought the car in January and love having the top down but top down + 40 degrees + 70mph = F#*KING FREEZING. Even crusing round town when its sub 50 degrees with the windows down gets pretty cold with the wind coming in from the sides.

People can think I'm ghey for doing it but I'm enjoying myself so I dont care much.

Try wearing a hoodie sweatshirt on cold top down drives man, it works wonders on keeping your head and back of the neck warm.

Not necessary for a car like S2000.
Down south it is... Regardless of whatever you choose to drive.

Most times on the freeway with the top down are windy enough that I put up the windows. It still gives me the open air feeling without as much sidewind gusts trying to take my hat or sunglasses off. Clear windows seem like they are not there. Tinted windows might stand out like walls with the top down and the windows up.

Tinted would look good with the top up since the convertable material is black.
wow I never even considered that when I was thinking about tinting!!! I definitely do that for long highway cruises so I can hear my music better......... thanks for helping my mind get out of the box
