I park pretty often with the top and windows up. The tint I have isn't all that dark but it has very high heat rejection which keeps the (black) interior from heating up and keep the UV off of it. The Heatshield takes care of the front windshield when parked.

I have an '06 Rio and I had the side windows, soft top glass and hard top glass tinted 35%

It's light enough that I rarely notice it's dark when the top and windows are up, and when they're down I don't care because I never have the top down and windows up at the same time.

When the hardtop's on, the black windows against the yellow car looks awesome in my opinion.

It's like I can choose between public and anonymous any time I want

I have never tinted mine. I didn't see the point in spending the money when I don't put the top or windows up.

My sides and back window were tinted the second day I drove the car off the lot.

Keeps the car cooler when it's parked outside when running errands.

Keeps the great unwashed from seeing what's inside the car.

Let's you pick your nose in private.

Lastly my ego doesn't need to pumped up by having said unwashed see who's driving. Plus it's only a Honda not sure I would want a girl who gets damp panties over a Honda.

I feel like people with tinted windows are trying to hide or something. I know that's not true, but that's the first thing that crosses my mind every time I see a nice car and can't see the driver behind the tint. Personally, I'd rather be seen.
I am trying to hide I don't need people seeing what I'm doing inside my own car. It's a crime to go look in the window of somebody's house, so why should a car be any different.
