Unhappy all motor or fi

just wondering i have been lookin up the all motor set up by inline pro which i heard has more torque but is up in price a turbo is not as expensive but on a easy set up for 300 to the wheels which would last longer.

300 at the wheels all NA? Good luck, the valvetrain won't like the higher revs and cam profiles, but it won't like boooooooooooost either. So being that both will make the car unreliable I'd go with the boooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOost baby!!!

dang your right if the new xga or car that is suppose to replace the s2000 is using the same platform i wonder if you could buy that motor and stick it in the s2000s lol.. would be cool rather than doing either boost or N/A

A basic bolt-on SC kit like the Comptech or Vortech will be more reliable than a stroked motor, granted your goal is only to reach around 300rwhp.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just read your sig and see you already have SC.

yeah i do but it is getting on my nerves and is not pushing the right power i am dissapointed in it really but that was funny though

I hear to go all motor with a stroker kit, you'd need to have a VERY reputable shop do the work on the engine, otherwise you'll probably be better off with turbo.

yeah but i have been hearing that it is so costly and as well there is no one in or near texas that is certified for the warranty to install and tune this bad boy

You need a reputable shop to go forced induction as well.

Either way, the reliability of your engine depends on the tuning.

I agree. It's all in the tuning...well a large majority of it. Tuning for power AND reliability!
