I just got my Crimestopper 2006 for the paging and convenience features. If they decide to take my car, I have the LoJack to track it. Either way, I'll know if someone either steals or tampers with the car which is all I need it for. The paging function is especially handy if they do steal the car as I will be alerted to call the police right away. As opposed to calling in hours later when it is too late.

And also, if someone tries to pull a hit and run in the parking lot, it will alert me to that so that I may possibly catch that person before he/she leaves the scene.

Oh, and it does the nice thing of rolling up the windows when I arm it in case I forget when I leave my car parked with the top down.

My car has the honda security system (horn alarm, no add in chirper). I bought this car slightly used (3k mi) and the lease holder (or leasing company) installed Lojack and I also found a "Honda anti-theft radio ID card" with the manual. It wasn't quite obvious to me whether that card was refering to the LoJack (There is also a LoJack ID card) or not. The glass is also etched with a Olympicare protection ID.

Wow, that's a real "deal" compared to ~$600 (some one posted a thread about this before?) for Clifford Intelligard series? I suppose Clifford has much more features? If so, does anybody know if we need them? Better yet, does any one have Clifford in his/her S? I for one, would want to spend "extra" features that never gets used. Also, how easy is it to install one of these? Could this be a good do-it-yourself project? Please share your experience.

Ok, stupid question time again.

Never had an alarm before so feel free to educate me on this.
What exactly is this "remote start" feature? How does it work?

Thanks.
