Air Conditioning Problem....
I just got my '06 two months ago, and since the beginning, I've noticed a problem with the A/C -- after the A/C has been running a little while, when the condenser kicks in, there is what looks like STEAM coming out of the vents! (The air is cold, though.) I've never seen anything like this on any other car I've had. After a few seconds, it stops. The A/C otherwise works fine, so I haven't brought it back to the dealer yet.
Has anyone else dealt with this in their S2000? Thanks for your comments.

Most likely condensation. Scared me the first time I saw it, too.
Don't worry about it, or switch to recirc (the orangish button with the picture of an arrow turning through the cabin -- just above your AC switches). Drier, already dehumidified cabin air won't condense into fog when it hits the AC system.

My 2002 does it especially when the humidity is high.
I don't think it's an issue - just chemistry doing it's thing.

I was on a plane the other day and the AC system started blowing "steam" when we landed in DC on a humid and hot afternoon. You should've seen the looks on people's faces when that started to happen. I'm glad I knew what was really happening cuz I guess it can be sort of disconcerting in a plane and all.
