Default Aha - s2000 type R technical details - released!

Not quite folks BUT - I just purchased the Japanese publication on the new Integra type R, special guide.

THere are quite a few innovations/developments on the ITR which forsee being translated if we do see the s2000-R.

1) The ITR spare is made from aluminium, 2.5kg with tire (or is it save 2.5 kg - my japanese is very very very rusty)

2) Option to leave out the spare, and have a puncture repair kit, + mini compressor.

3) 17" light weight wheels - aluminium??(as i am sure alot of you know)

4) Ducted brakes from front side vents

5) Brembo four pot calipers on front, (which are actually larger than s2k)

6) Ferrari type multi path exhaust - actually specifically the muffler - at high rpm the exhast gases force out a spring loaded flap which converts the muffler into ALMOST a straight through exhaust.

and ummm alot more, once i figure out the japanese

Thanks for the informative update there ... Tza, however I do quite believe that your topic should be renamed new unrelated information on the K20a Integra Type R and not anything to do with the AP1 R speculation.
