Mine is an early model year 2000. It has about 36000 kms on it and has only seen sunny day cruises. I've had the car from new and I'm 56.

I wasn't expecting such a young crowd tbh. (I'm 26).
Anyone who answered this poll in 2010 (when it was originally posted) is now 4 years older. So someone who was 26 at the time is now 30 and in an entirely different age bracket as defined by this poll. But like I've previously said, the age brackets in this poll leave a little something to be desired and no particularly meaningful conclusions can be drawn based on this poll. But it's an amusing topic and fun to click on the little buttons and stuff.
That's not the point of a poll like this. Even though its an old poll, it gives us an idea of the people / crowd on the forums who voted at the time they saw this thread. If you follow through with your point, then no conclusions can be drawn from any other poll either because eventually 100% of s2000 owners will be 55+ category at some point in time in their lives lol

Well, no, not actually. Someone who owns an S2000 now could easily sell it or wreck it before they reach 55.

The topic is entertaining at this point, but the numbers/graphs that are in the poll at this time can't be used to draw any conclusions. They are no longer accurate. The dates of anyone's vote is not included in the poll. Whether or not they still own the car is not included. This is a matter of data integrity or reliability. It does not make the discussion or the thread less interesting, but it does mean that the numbers can't be used to support any kind of conclusions.

Actually, yes. If they are still on the forum and voting on this thread even after they sold the s2000, they actually will vote 55+ :-D

Even if the poll was "accurate" the way you mention, it's still not accurate because someone might have multiple s2000s purchased at different times or buys and sells one every few years (those who regret selling are common). Even if the poll factored all that you mentioned in, it would still not be accurate because for example someone could have voted the day before their birthday which would then push them into the next category the following day. So the date of vote, current ownership, and any other info actually doesn't really matter.

At best this is a snapshot in time which gives us an idea of the people / crowd on the forums who voted at the time they saw this thread. You won't get a more "accurate' poll unless you make it your life's mission to monitor everyone who buys, sells, dies, wrecks, or loses the car to theft :-D
