Default Aftermarket Extended Floor Mats

Hi, good evening s2k community, I am looking for a pair aftermarket extended floor mats. I know that Honda access makes their own, but I wanted to know if there are any cheaper alternatives out there. Let me know!

Not that I've found. When these popped up in a thread dedicated to buying on sale the ones made by Honda of EuropeI searched around to make sure here wasn't a more economical alternative. The only other set I came across is no longer made. So this was the only choice.

I decided it was worth it to protect more of the carpet. It would be smarter to spend a little now on mats, instead of a lot more later on new carpet.

But the last set of mats I had I wore a heel hole in all too quickly. So I bought one of those thick clear plastic runners meant to make it easier to roll office chair on thick carpet. They have little teeth on the bottom to hold it in place. Bought it from Staples for like $30.

I cut out a small piece in the shape of the entire forward portion of mat. Heated and bent it to shape of floor where it goes under pedals. Can't really see it from outside the car, its too tucked under dash. Plus its clear.

The stuff I bought is slightly rough, so my feet don't slip around on it. Its been on for quite a while now, and mat still looks perfect!

Yeah there was an ebay seller that made some a while back but they no longer make them. The Honda access mats are really nice even though they are a bit pricey.

I bought a set of these. They cover the humps and are made for the S2000. There are some pics in the user reviews so that you can see what they look like.

They have been fine for me for the past few months and prevent the wear on the carpet over the hump.

^I have a set of those as well, they don't feel particularly hard-wearing but my car doesn't get a huge amount of use so no big deal for me.
