After a week..
Hello all, I've become an owner of a 01 S2000
After owning it for about a week, I can only say this car is ridiculous!!
I've never driven a sports car let alone a RWD car, and this car really opened my eyes. Utmost respect for the S2000.
Since I'm quite new to driving manual, I've been practicing at night time to get a better feel of the car, but is it just me or it is very easy to speed? In second gear and you hit 6k, shift to third and you are close to breaking the speed limit -_-
And the steering.. just wow, my previous car was a mazda 3, and I thought the steering was pretty good, but after driving the S2000, I don't think I can drive another car again hah, it is so direct and precise, the car moves the way you tell it to.
But yeah.. I hope I can keep this car forever, this is probably one of Honda's masterpiece.
p.s. this car is LOUD!

I to have owned my AP1 for a week, as of today. I knew what I was buying though. I'm still amazed at the steering response and over all driving feel. Going from FWD to RWD, is also great and I'll never go back to it.

I fall deeper in love with mine everyday...especially on nice days when I can lower the top.
And as stated above, 6k is nothing...let her loose a bit more and enjoy the VTEC (I hope you had everything on the car checked out and its in great working condition, especially being an 01).

2 month owner here, and agreed.
Thank god I'm not in a relationship right now, because she would definately be upset about the money I've spent in this short amount of time on my s2k.
my only RWD experiences is a 02 335 beamer, a handful of various mercedes. Never really a sport car per se, but this car does pretty much whatever you tell it too and to a certain limit it does it effortlessly. It almost feels like an extension of yourself, in term of... u think what you want to do, and it does it no questions asked.
