I'd recommend against a harness without a good regulation roll bar/cage. The reason being is that when you wear a harness, it restricts your side to side movement. In the event of a rollover, this would prevent you from moving sideways, thus you are forced to sit straight up with the weight of the car on top of you. The factory belts allow you to move sideways, thus lessening the chance of injury if you should end up on your lid. Just some thoughts to throw in the mix.
BTW, Mugen/King has brackets, seats, cage, and a harness listed for the S2000.
