After Market Exhaust for 2k S2K
I have a stock 2K S2K and I am interested in a mellow exhaust sound. I don't want it to sound raspy. I have a Borla exhaust on my Miata and love the sound. Anything similar for my other red car? Any suggestions? Thx.

Moving to S2k talk.
The Stock and Mugen exhausts are the quietest at idle. All the singles are loud, some of the duals are loud.
If it has a big honkin' tip, a straight through muffler it's gonna be loud.

Why not go Borla again? I had the Neuspeed a long time ago. It was supposedly made from Borla parts. I loved that sound but as it got older, it got louder - just a bit too loud for my tastes. It's being enjoyed by another S2000 owner now.
Fujitsubo might fit the bill, too. I have that now and it's nice and mellow (I'd like to call it restrained throaty) below 5000rpm and has an authoritative roar above that. Comptech is also nice.
If you go single, LOUD and RASPY is what you'll get, not to mention enough drone to numb your brain. Watch out for drone in many of the duals, too.
