I love the sound of the car! So much so, i'm hesitant of modding it with bolt-ons because I don't want to change the exhaust or the engine note too drastically. What is going to be the best choice for near stock/quiet noise level? I"m thinking comptech goods. Also, is an intake really going to be worth the extra money/noise level over the AUT induction plate? I can't imagine the change in horsepower increase (if any) can be that much different between the two. I plan to keep my car n/a btw.

Don't get an exhaust... I think the stock sounds great with just the resonator removed....

Pop the stock airbox lid off (Takes 30 seconds)... That will sound "about" like an intake will....

You have only had the car for 2 weeks. Relax. Enjoy your summer with the car. Go to a lot of meets and look at the mods other people have already done to their car in your area. THEN, next winter do any mods you might want to do.

Wouldn't popping the airbox lid off probably rob a little bit of power by letting warmer air in?

honestly, this is the first car that i've owned that I could see myself leaving totally stock for the most part, it's that nice.

Yes, he was saying that you can test it like that to see if you like the sound.

I thought that too, and for the most part it is true. Slowly but surely however you'll probably want to do a few little things here and there to personalize it.

lol, I wish, but at $1600, that is beyond my pricerange for an exhaust. I had the mugen twinloop on my civic si though and it was a beautiful looking and sounding piece.
