Just a though.
I don't agree with doing that, but only from a performance stand point...if you want better tire wear fine, but one of the best things you can do - if not the best, is get a more aggressive alignment on the S2000. It makes a big difference.

not gonna argue, but the UK alignment is more agressive. the rear toe is the main difference. for US they gave the rears way more toe in. this wears tires like crazy. UK has about zero rear toe in, which makes the car oversteer more. it's really noticable.

i'm out, you can have the last word about why I'm wrong.

there are tons and tons of members in the 100k mile club.
i am at 59k on my 04. no issues at all.
i know what you mean by having a low mileage car though. we just have to get over that because its not worth it trading in my car to get a used 08, for the amount i would lose, i could buy a new engine.

ProV1,
I sold my 2004 Silverstone to a friend with 62k miles on it. He kept it until about 80k miles and it needed nothing other than routine fluids, filters, and tires replaced. I think you should be ok with buying a used AP2 with greater than 45-50k miles on it, even if it's a private owner. Just make sure all the regularly scheduled maintenance is done, etc...

Electronspeeder (and ProV1),
I live in Troy but am regularly in Ann Arbor on the weekends visiting the gf. I have a red AP2 with black Rota D2s. Hit me up sometime and we can go cruising if the weather's nice.

Regards,
Christopher

My alignment is fine, and i get even wear through out the tire, but they just get to the wear bars quick, probably due to my driving habits/locations.
